After serving in the Israeli military, he moved to the United States at 21, where he began his journey in the stone industry working at his uncle’s tile showroom. It was there, through relentless hard work and determination, that Acher learned both the business and the language, setting the foundation for his future ventures.

Recognizing a gap in the market for quartz surfaces that could authentically capture the elegance of natural marble, Acher pioneered new techniques in quartz slab manufacturing. He introduced the world’s first marble design in quartz, forever transforming the industry. His innovation of the book-matching technique — creating mirror-image designs on adjoining slabs — became a signature of his work. While many have since attempted to replicate his vision, few have matched the seamless precision and artistry of his designs.

Before founding Raphael Stone Collection, Acher established Quartz Master, a quartz manufacturing and distribution company that grew to become a major player across North America and Canada. After successfully selling Quartz Master, he was ready for a new chapter — one rooted in family and legacy.

Sharon Cohen, President and Co-Founder of Raphael Stone Collection, brings over two decades of hands-on experience in the stone industry. After arriving in the United States, Sharon joined his family’s business and became a key partner at Quartz Master. He led operational strategy and oversaw the expansion of the company’s distribution network. With the formation of Raphael Stone Collection, Sharon’s focus has been on establishing the brand’s reputation for superior quality, an extensive offering of Calacatta-inspired quartz designs, and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.
