Any high-impact blows can also damage it. Believe it or not, quartz is harder than granite. So, that means quartz is much more durable and nearly indestructible. You don’t have to worry about leaving any stains on there, because it’s not porous at all. However, there is an exception– quartz kitchen countertops can be damaged by excessive heat, so make sure you use heating pads under any hot pans.
